It should be no surprise to anyone when I say we are in the midst of a pandemic, and that strict measures are needed by all parties to ensure the human impact of this natural disaster is minimised as much as possible.
With more and more businesses either asking their staff to work from home or having to shut up shop entirely. Neither of which are exactly ideal situations to be working through.
This may leave you thinking now is the perfect time to enter some form of business hibernation, mirroring some business who are currently running a skeleton crew to try and ride out the storm.
My feeling is almost the opposite, while the rest of your industry may be slowing down out of worry, now should be the time you push your foot down. Meaning that when this inevitably blows over and the country reopens you are two to three months ahead of your competition who have been in suspended animation through all of this.
I personally have no intention of slowing down, I will continue to deliver excellence to my clients so that we are all in a stronger position on the other side of this dark tunnel and definitely not in the same position we started in.
